The Broadway revival of American Buffalo, which opened at the Belasco Theatre on November 17, has closed as of November 23, according to published reports.
The play follows three men in a junk shop who plot to steal a rare, valuable nickel. The production stars John Leguizamo, Cedric the Entertainer, and Haley Joel Osment, and is directed by Tony Award winner Robert Falls.
Leguizamo has appeared twice on Broadway in his solo shows, Freak and Sexaholix. Cedric starred in the film version of The Honeymooners and will be soon on the big screen in Cadillac Records. Osment, who is making his Broadway debut, is best known for starring in The Sixth Sense, for which he received an Oscar nomination.
