Synopsis


Written by acclaimed actress of stage and screen, Vickilyn Reynolds, who has starred in Bring In da Noise, Bring In da Funk, The Colored Museum and Mama I Want to Sing, Hattie What I Need You To Know! captures the essence of Hattie McDaniel's humble beginnings in Denver and her rise to stardom in Hollywood with heart and soul. Performances begin with an Opening Night Gala on August 20 at the historic National Black Theatre.
