Synopsis

Epic Theatre Ensemble presents the New York premiere of Palace of the End, by Judith Thompson, directed by Daniella Topol. Heather Raffo and Teri Lamm star.

Thompson's new play "surveys the guts and bile of human oppression" (L.A. Weekly) through three singular perspectives from the invasion and occupation of Iraq: Lynndie England of Abu Ghraib fame, David Kelley, the British scientist and weapons inspector who exposed Britain's faulty intelligence on WMDs and Nehrjas al-Saffarh, an Iraqi political leader whose family paid the ultimate price at the hands of Saddam Hussein.

Post-show discussions with the cast and guest speakers will follow every performance.
